Dan Byrd and newcomer Adhir Kalyan have landed the two leads in the CW comedy pilot Aliens in America.

The project centers on the relationship between an unpopular 16-year-old (Byrd) and a 16-year-old Pakistani Muslim (Kalyan) who comes to live with the boy's family as an exchange student. The pilot will shoot this summer for midseason consideration.

Byrd's series credits include CBS' Clubhouse and Lifetime's Any Day Now.
