We pick back up with HRG, probably not too happy that "Captain No-Fun" Isaac painted HRG's death before he himself died.  On top of that, he's worried that little Clairebear is growing up, and possibly even *gasp* seeing a boy.  HRG basically forbids her from seeing him, and then Claire runs from the room screaming, "Daddy I love him!"  (Not really -- that was actually the Little Mermaid.)  In reality, HRG just asks if he can meet the young fella, and Claire says there is no young fella.  Sad.

Parkman/Mohinder try to comfort Molly when she wakes up screaming from yet ANOTHER nightmare, but neither of them has any idea what to do.  Mo sings her an Indian lullaby, I think.  It was arguably a tender moment.

Nathan goes to visit his kids at school, and they immediately tell him that his depression beard needs to go.  He agrees, and apologizes for being such an absentee father.  It's a…pretty touching parent/child scene.  (Three in a row!)  Then a teacher or someone shows up and tells him to scram.  They don't like lookyloos around schools these days.

Over in Mejico with Maya, Alejandro, and the car thief, Maya is speaking English!  She wants to know where he's from, because she saw the California license plate.  The criminal says he's actually from Jersey (racist.) and he basically tells her that once they get to the border, it's every man for himself.  [In a true magical moment of subtitles, Maya's Spanish translation for Alejandro was cut off a good few seconds before she herself got cut off, due to Car Thief stopping short because of a body in the road.  That's what's fun about subtitles! (maybe you had to be there…)]  Anyway, the important part is, there was a body in the middle of the road, and the surprising twists was (besides the fact that it actually wasn't Maya who killed him for once) -- it was Sylar!

Micah is not fitting in well with his cousins.  That's really the only important thing I took from this scene, other than the oldest cousin possibly having a fear of cooking shows, and Micah probably planning to win the kids over by hooking them up with illegal cable.

Mama Petrelli confesses for Papa Hiro's murder, from her hospital bed.  Parkman's not so sure, so he reads her mind, only to have her beg him to take the confession and let it go.

Claire's new bf, West, is moving WAAAAY too fast.  Claire tells him that just because they kissed (flew), that doesn't mean they're going out (read: she doesn't want him to meet her father, who maybe abducted him a year earlier (there's no maybe about it)).  West doesn't know how to handle her brush-off.  (Why don't women ever just say what's really on their mind?), so he demands one more date.  Claire reluctantly agrees.

Newly shaven Nathan yells at Parkman for questioning his moms while she's in the hosp.  Parkman comes clean about the whole mind-reading thing, and Nathan tells him "get out of my head, witch!"  Parkman shows Nathan the marked photos of Paps Hiro, and Moms Patrelli, and now Parkman and Nathan are partners (but not like Parkman and Mohinder are partners…)  Nathan asks his mom why she's confessing to crimes she didn't commit, and she says she's doing it to protect him -- to protect them all.  Then they cuff her and take her down to Central Booking...in a wheelchair (gangsta).

Sylar, now recuperating in the backseat, tells Maya and the boys that he's going to NY.  Maya gets excited, and tells him that not only are they going to NY, but they're going to see Dr. Suresh.  Sylar gets excited and tells her that not only does he know Dr. Suresh, but he'll take her to him personally!  Maya is very happy.  Alejandro has reservations.

Monica (Micah's cousin) works at a burger joint, and has dreams of making manager, so she can move her family up out of the hard times (?).  The bad news is she's not getting the manager job, but the good news is she has a power.  The real bad news. though, is that her power only appears to be the ability to make tomato roses (what a crappy power).

HRG tries to follow/stalk Claire as she goes to meet with West, but he forgot to look to the skies, so he missed it when they flew away. (oops!)

Nathan and Parkman look for the master photo that had all the elders in it, and Parkman tries to use it as an excuse to bond, and talk about his failed marriage (Nathan shuts him down).  Nathan finds the complete photo, which has Linderman, Ma Petrelli, Pa Hiro, Simone's dad, and Company Man Bob in it, plus about seven other people.  The big shock though, is that one of those seven is Parkman's father.  (Whaaaaaa?)

Monica is sad about not getting promoted, and about Hurricane Katrina.  She wonders if God is punishing her for  being selfish.

Claire and West are kicking on top of the Hollywood sign (on the second O).  Claire tells West she has trust issues, and so he does the old "fall backwards and I'll catch you" thing, only he wants her to jump off the Hollywood sign, and he'll fly down and catch her (totally the same thing).  She does it, and he catches her.  Now she trusts him, and so they kiss again.  West says "I know you can heal, Claire, but I never want to see you hurt."

Micah comes through with that illegal PPV hookup, thanks to his techno-powers.  The kids then watch Wrestlemania or something.  It turns out Monica's power isn't tomato- rose specific - her real gift is the ability to watch TV and perform any action she sees.

Parkman tells Mohinder and Molly that he's leaving to go find his father.  He also tells them that his dad was a criminal, AND he wants Molly to help him find the guy.  When he shows her a picture of him, so she can do her thing, Molly totally flips out and tells Parkman that his dad is the dude from her dreams (nightmares) -- he IS Nightmare Man.

Nathan is still secretly thinking about Peter, and he's also still secretly seeing himself in mirrors, all nasty-faced and disfigured.  He's not happy about this -- not one bit.

Claire gets home from her date, and she's totally in love.  West has her all goofy over him, AND lying to her father.  This isn't good…

Car Thief finds a Wanted poster for Maya and Alejandro, and tells Sylar what he found.  Sylar tells Car Thief to go call the cops (which is totally something a car thief would do) and then goes to confront the twins himself.  When Maya bugs out and tries to go all "black oil" on him, Alejandro uses his power to calm her down, and Sylar realizes that they both have powers. Sylar gets excited, and they all drive off together -- stealing the car from the car thief.  (but it's ok though, because Sylar already killed him anyway.)

Claire lies to her poppa about being out with a boy, telling him instead that she's joining the cheerleading squad (which is actually true).  When HRG starts to forbid it, she tells him that it means soooooo much to her, and so -- like any father who has trouble saying no to his lil' girl -- HRG tells her he's cool with the cheerleading, but ONLY if she promises not to date any boys (uh-oh).  Claire lies, and tells him that he's got a deal.

As Claire heads to bed, the Haitian shows up and tells HRG that they've got to go to the Ukraine to look into these paintings.

Parkman apologizes to Mohinder, but says that Molly has to help him find his father.  Mohinder says absolutely not, and tells him that Mo's new friend Bob is in the picture, and maybe Bob can help them.  Parkman isn't interested in that garbage, and when they start to get into it (throwing each other's daddy issues in each other's respective faces), Molly emerges and tells Parkman that she'll help him find his father.

When Monica and the burger joint get held up, we get confirmation of Monica's power, as she uses some WWE wrestling moves to save the day.  But! -- they don't even promote her to manager as a sign of their gratitude!  What a rip off.

Molly tracks Parkman's father down to an apartment in Philadelphia, but he sees her before she can get back out of the dream, and so she screams and then goes into shock.  Parkman tries to read her mind, but all he can hear is her screaming for him to help her…

__

Well, no Hiro or Peter this week, but they'll both be back next week, and they're bringing Kristin Bell with them.  See you in seven…
