Whoopi Goldberg is the new host of ABC's morning train wreck, The View. Whoopi will be taking Rosie O'Donnell's place on the round table women's show that redefines the words "boring," "annoying," and "unwatchable." The gig isn't completely confirmed, but all sources are pointing towards Ms. Goldberg getting the job. Goldberg will be taking a daily seat next to Barbara "I'm too old" Walters, Joy Behar, and Elizabeth "I'm annoyingly conservative" Hasselbeck. Could this spell the end for one of ABC's most controversial shows? Certainly not. People, lots of them, love this show for some bizarre reason. Bottom line: Good thing that Rosie is gone, but Whoopi isn't a whole lot better.
