September 10, 2007

The New York Times reports that Viacom will launch TheDailyShow.com later this year, which will have every archived interview, clip and segment from the show avaliable for free online. In this obvious attack on YouTube, Viacom will also show ads before and after the clip. Other sites will come soon for Sarah Silverman, Engaged and Underage and iCarly. This comes on the heels of the same deal that Matt Stone and Trey Parker struck for South Park Studios.
