Keeping the Star Trek references going, Nichelle Nichols, aka Lieutenant Uhura from the original starship Enterprise, will be making some guest appearances during the second season of NBC's Heroes. TVGuide reports that Nichols will be playing "Nana" the New Orleans grandmother of new character Monica (Dana Davis). I wonder if it bothers her that George Takei (Mr. Sulu of the same Trek series) is playing Hiro's father, while she is playing a character's grandmother, despite both actors being in their seventies.
