News > Myspace taps classic TV for Minisode network

that Myspace has just launched their Minisode Network, which taps into Sony Pictures Television's vast library of classic TV shows. The service, which is currently live at , features a number of 3-5 minute clips from shows including The Partridge Family, Starsky and Hutch, T.J. Hooker, and Charlie's Angels. They plan to offer over 500 "episodes" by the end of 2007. The page also offers content from little-known modern shows including Sheena and VIP, but the real draw are the classic broadcasts. The page, counter to the rest of Myspace, is damn clean, and the videos are of excellent quality. That being said, Myspace is still a teenage girl's paradise, with spam and crap galore. Even so, this is a pretty unique angle, and a smart move on SPT's part.
