For as long as I can remember, the Olsen twins have been wallowing in the doldrums of their past successes as Michelle Tanner on Full House.  By wallowing, I mean diving into pools full of money made from the 'tween-empire they roost upon, but, nonetheless, the alien-looking duo have done almost nothing to distinguish themselves from the cutesy-wutesy Michelle-welly they once played.

Looks like that's all going to change.  Mary-Kate "I'm Rich and I Don't Have To Eat If I Don't Want To" Olsen has signed on to Showtime's Weeds.  The scrawny twin will play Tara, a Bible-beating Christian who takes up with Mary-Louise Parker's troubled son, Silas.  And this isn't just a silly little cameo (like the Snoop Dogg appearance early last season) -- Olsen will be acting in ten of the fifteen planned episodes.  Making this the biggest television role she's had since Michelle Tanner.

I don't care about how this finally presents the twins as independent personalities, or how this will be the beginning of great things for the two ladies.  All I care about is seeing Michelle Tanner take some savage rips from a percolating six-foot bong.  Awwwwwww yeaaaaah.
