News > House Plays The Super Bowl

May 17, 2007

The 2007-2008 football season has yet to begin. Apparently we still have to slog through the rest of this goddamn travesty known as "the baseball season." Despite the fact that the teams have yet to hit the proverbial turf, Fox has already locked down its post-Super Bowl entertainment. It looks like House, the doctor drama that everyone hates to love, will be aired directly after the big game. The announcement is unprecedented for several reasons: that networks have traditionally used the after bow slot to drum up support for promising new series, and, in addition, announcements like this are rarely made so far in advance of the actual air date. Maybe FOX got a little too excited after their bio-diesel hippie love fest?
