Kelley series Life on Mars. The show, based on a BBC series, is about a detective who is mysteriously transported back to 1972 after his girlfriend is kidnapped. According to , Meaney will play Detective Hunt the head of the homicide department in 1972 who clashes violently with the time displaced Sam, played by O'Mara.
