News > Abrams and Soloway Get ABC Pilot

October 4, 2007

ABC has ordered an untitled drama from Grey's Anatomy writer Jill Soloway and from J.J. Abrams's Bad Robot shingle. According to , the hour-long show "revolves around a cable access psychologist who is forced to take a job as a mobile notary."

When last we heard about this project, it was being called a comedy rather than a drama. Perhaps it still is; the premise sounds like it would more naturally lend itself to comedy than drama.

Soloway is also a consultant on Dirty Sexy Money and wrote for years on Six Feet Under. She will write the pilot and executive produce. Abrams and Kathy Lingg will serve as the other executive producers.
