Some spoilers ahead for those who didn't watch the House season finale.

TVGuide reports that, though all three of Greg House's interns left Princeton-Plainsboro hospital in last night's season finale, they aren't necessarily gone for good. Omar Epps is definitely returning to the show, though it's unknown whether Jennifer Morrison or Jesse Spencer will be back.

House may meet some all-new characters as well: given the fact that he turns to Cuddy's students for answers, it's highly possible that House will take on more interns, ask them for their opinions, and then mock them for being wrong.

Executive producer David Shore says, "A large chunk of the fun of the show is House relating to other people and people playing off House. The broader and wider we can make that, the better."

Too true: Greg House is at his most interesting when mocking different types of people, and though his interns from the past three seasons were decently entertaining, they really only served as side characters for House to abuse. More characters means more and different methods of abuse, means a much more entertaining show.
