Get ready for Posh's TV special. The lovely Mrs. Beckham has signed on with NBC for a 6-episode reality show set to air sometime in the near future. NBC is massaging the footage into a prime time special, retaining the option to extend Beckham's contract if the ratings demonstrate that anyone cares. The show will follow Posh from Britain to Los Angeles, outlining the emotional and financial hardships of moving to America with no friends and only $250 million in the bank. Oh the humanity. The question is, does anyone really care about the "trials and tribulations" of yet another wealthy, spoiled, brat? The answer is probably yes, but I hope to God that this show demonstrates some level of irony and sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek satire of Poshy. History tells us that biopic-esque reality TV is only funny when the subject is being ruthlessly ridiculed without their knowledge.
