Wow...this season is way better than the last two by leaps and bounds. First up, SPOILER ALERT...ok...Johnny Sac died. I never particularly gave a damn about his character anyways...the made him a tough guy for like half a day and then he had his balls cut off pretty much. And now he's dead. Pussy. They also killed that dude in the New York gang right in front of Silvio. That scene was badass. But more on that in a second.
The episode mostly surrounded the debut of Christopher's film, "Cleaver," a "Saw" ripoff starring a slain gangster who's come back with a cleaver for a hand, hell bent on getting revenge on the boss who killed him (played by the surprisingly fat Daniel Baldwin). At first, everyone is happy with the flick, especially Tony. But it dawns on him the boss character is supposed to be him...and the story-line where the boss screws Cleaver's girlfriend seems to anger Carmella (and further her suspicions that Tony made it with Adriana). That obviously pisses off Tony...and Carmella stirs the pot even more by convincing the fat don that the flick was really a "revenge fantasy" meant to show Christopher's inner wishes...to off the boss. Good one, Carm. You stupid...
In the midst of this brewing rage in Tony over the ridiculously horrible "Cleaver" movie, there's the whole New York story-line brewing. Johnny Sac is dead. They off one of his successors. And now Phil Leotardo, at the end of the episode, after going off on some rant about how Ellis Island changed his last name from Leonardo to Leotardo (what a lame), swears that things are going to "change." He's still pissed about how Tony's cousin offed Phil's little brother. And back when he was going to get revenge, it was ....gasp.... Christopher in his target.
So...it looks Christopher, unless by a twist of fate, will get his ass delivered to him on a plate. Peace out, Multasante.
