Classic movies and streaming media aren't exactly two peas in a pod. Classic movies are generally equated with old people, and old people don't know how to use the internet. In a shocking turn of events that is sure to take nursing homes and geriatric communities by storm, Turner Classic Movies has set up an online presence solely dedicated to, ummm, classic movies. The site is called, wait for it, ahem, the Media Room, and exists as a subsection of the TCM.com umbrella site. The cleverly named Media Room currently features over 3,000 clips of varying lengths, with snippets of classics, interviews with old actors and various other trivia and marginalia. Fun! All joking aside, this is an amazing resource, and hopefully other networks and studios will see fit to follow suit.
