News > Time's ALL-TIME 100 TV Shows nothing spectacular

September 10, 2007

Written by John Lichman

Time Magazine has released another Top 100 list (in no order except A-Z) for the greatest TV shows of ALL-TIME. Poor puns aside, this list features the stock staples (Married...With Children, Soap, Saturday Night Live), the surprising (MTV 1981-1992, Lost, The Daily Show) and the just plain odd (Gilmore Girls, Lost!?)

The list, compiled by Time's sole TV Critic,James Poniewozik, comes with embeddable video to prove the show's gravitas. But what about other International shows? No telénovelas? No Doctor Who, Futurama or even Looney Tunes!

The reasoning behind the list can be found here.

So, what do you think is missing?
