News > Thursday a Night of New Lows

Not a good night for network TV, as a lot of the heavy hitters went down swinging.  And, uh... broke their... uh... battinghelmetsIgotnothing[/baseball analogy].

At any rate, CSI, Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty and Survivor all set their own little low-water mark records according to various parameters.  You could call it the post-sweeps blues, but I prefer to think of it as come-uppance for doing too many procedural shows (CSI), too many seasons (Survivor), hiding gayness (Grey's Anatomy) and for the fact that Ugly Betty is actually pretty hot.  All that said, none of these shows are in any sort of danger unless this is the beginning of a long trend.
