22-year-old Laura Vandervoort has been cast as Clark Kent's cousin Kara (also known as Supergirl) and will appear in the next season of Smallville. According to TVGuide, they'll be making the character something of a "troublemaker" for Clark on the show. Vandervoort might be best known as Sadie from Canadian show Instant Star, and I'm sure fans of the show, male fans in particular, will not object to her casting.
