reports that NBC has won the rights to a new police procedural show scripted by John Stephens (The OC). The untitled show follows ordinary cops as they bust "vampires, zombies, and other criminal demons." Apparently there was "intense interest from multiple nets" on this project. Personally I'm sick of "police procedurals with a twist" but if it's well-written and actually funny, that's all that matters.
