reports that CBS is developing My Best Friend's Girl, a comedy from former Friends writer Mike Sikowitz. The show follows two male friends whose relationship changes when one guy starts dating the other's ex-wife. The show will go forward if it can find the right cast. Sikowitz is also the showrunner for Unhitched (formerly known as The Rules for Starting Over), a Farrelly Brothers midseason comedy over at Fox.

A&E is interested in Danny Fricke, a scripted cop show written by Cynthia Cidre about a strong female homicide detective. Again the production greenlight is contingent on a good cast.

These shows may mean nothing to you and me now. But in a few months, who knows who'll be attached to them? I wouldn't hold out much hope just the same.
