News > Scott Patterson Becomes An Alien

Girls, get ready to scream like, well, little girls, because 'Gilmore Girls' hunk (not my word) Scott Patterson is returning to the CW in 'Aliens in America'.  The sitcom focuses on a 16-year old white Christian kids relationship with a 16-year old Pakistani kid.  I'm sure with CW's reputation of stellar minority shows, that this film will not be stuffed to the gilss with Taliban, turbin, and Koran jokes.  Oh wait, I'm mistaken, that's exactly what is going to happen.

Patterson will be playing the cornfed Wisconsin boy's father.  Most of you probably remember the muscled lad from his days as  Lorelai's man on 'The Gilmore Girls'.  The peppy, fast-paced talking and saccharine sweat plot development often times gave me a seizure, so I couldn't watch the show much, but supposedly Patterson did some decent work on it.  I'm sure the legions and legions of 15-50 year old woman who spend nights tossing and turning thinking about old Luke will be very, very happy about this news.
