'Charm School', the 'Flava of Love' spin-off show featuring a group of 'hood' chicks, who have to learn to be real ladies over the course of thirteen episodes has come to an end.  Topping out Buckeey, Smiley, and Buckwild, New York-resident Saaphyri has come out on top as the most polished young lady, accomplishing all ten commandments, beating out 12 different contestants.  Seriously, the pure bafflement that courses through me everytime I'm forced to acknowledge that Flava Flav is an absolute nut and VH1 is somehow making money off him (still) sandwashes my mind of anything interesting to say.  So instead I'll related a story.

Do you remember those funny glasses Flava Flav made popular?  The ones that wrapped over the head, instead of over the ears?  Some guy at Safeco Field today was wearing those, but instead of being super skinny, black, and bald, this guy must've been 3 bucks, with wild ass orange hair, holding an Ichiro bobble head.  It was f'n strange, and it can just added to the list of things Flava Flav has done for the people of the world.  Flava Flav, you're the best.

And I'm sure Saaphyri, that model of class and elegance would agree.
