Oprah Winfrey is opening a store across from her studio in Chicago. The store will be about 4,500 square feet, chocked full of Oprah merchandise, and will likely house a cafe for Oprah's audience to run to after the taping of her show. It's pretty much a guaranteed success in its current location, which means there will be more, which means these things could become as ubiquitous as Starbucks. But with way more estrogen and condescension.
