Insisting that they "don't pay for news," NBC has denied that they offered Paris Hilton $1 million for a post-jail interview. "NBC News has not and will not pay for interviews" said spokesperson Allison Gollust to . Some sources are claiming things to the contrary, but the official word is: No money for Hilton.

It's like the world has gone on some sort of morality trip for this whole Paris Hilton thing. She can't pay to get out of jail early, networks are refusing to pay her top-dollar for an interview. This must be some sort of ethics holiday. You know how people will pick up trash on Earth Day and litter every other day of the year? Maybe that's what this is.
