Super-slinky, former Heroes star Missy Peregrym reminds of a mix between Hillary Swank and, er, someone who's mouth doesn't scream to be fed oats all day.  Being a huge proponent of hot people getting the respect they deserve, it's nice to hear that Peregrym has jumped from her recurring Heroes role as shape-shiftng Linderman associate Candice Wilmer to another weekly, genre series.  Peregrym will take the abandoned role of of the female lead on the CW's 'Reaper', a show about a slacker (Bret Harrison) who somehow ends up being Bezelbub's personal bounty hunter.  Peregrym will play the slacker's love interest.  Before this Peregrym was all jumping and vautling shit in Stick It and was the hot girl opposite Kelly Osbourne and a troupe of horny boys in ABC's 'Life As We Know It'. 

 

The show sounds like it has the potential to be a 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' sized cult-hit, but so did 'Tru Calling' and look where that went.  Nooooooooooooowhere.
