TVGuide is reporting that Mare Winningham, who effectively played Dr. Grey's stepmother on the uber-boring, yet uber-successful chick show Grey's Anatomy, has just signed a deal to join the cast of ABC's Boston Legal. The woman, who's acting skills should be intensely scrutinized (to say the least), will play who asks show star Alan Shore for advice on how best to kill the man who somehow murdered her daughter. Shore refuses to, Winningham kills the man anyway, Winningham then asks Shore to represent her during her murder trial. Anyone still care?
