The most prestigious awards for soap operas have commenced a couple of really powerful people have finally been showered with the recognition they so clearly deserve.  No one more so than Bryton McClure, an actor from soap opera stalwart The Young and the Restless.  You may not know him from the show, but perhaps you remember him from another popular series, ahem, 'Family Matters'.  You better believe it, strapping Bryton McClure at one time played the adorable Little Richie Crawford on the show I used to know as "The Black Step-by-Step".  Hey I was young, sorry.

Expect McClure, with a shiny Daytime Emmy under his belt, to be rumored as a potential actor for Dr. Manhattan or Indiana Jones son.

On another note, a lot of other people won some stuff for being in television shows that no one watches but old ladies and methheads.
