According to TVGuide, the answer is....yes...albeit rather briefly. On September 20th, the network plans to throw Live a bit of a birthday bash. Has it been 20 years already? Damn...Having departed to make way for the younger, hotter, and more annoying Kelly Rips, Kathie Lee Gifford will return to the harrowed halls of the fabled morning show to pay homage to the stage that gave birth to her rousing career/retirement. Yay! According to the show's producer, Michael Gelman:
"We've been waiting for the right time to have her back and this is a big event, so we're happy to have her."
There ya have it. In slightly more interesting news, a Chrysler vehicle will be auctioned off during the celebration. I wonder what would happen if they tried to auction off Kathie Lee...nothing good, I suppose.
