Hip-hop mogul and rap star Shawn Carter (Jay-Z) is developing “Hit Men,” a scripted boxing series for ESPN. The pilot penned by John Eisendrath, (”Playmakers”) will follow the lives of a multi-cultured group of struggling athletes who all work out at Hit Men Boxing Club, an inner-city gym run by Frank Cerrones, a former boxer. Their lives inside the ring and their battles out side the gym, with relationships and every day challenges will be the focus of this series. The pilot will film on location in Louisiana, beginning the first week of December.
