News > iTunes Will No Longer Offer NBC Programming

September 3, 2007

Written by David Morgan

reports that Apple and NBC have parted ways after not being able to come to an agreement over pricing and/or packaging of NBC shows. Apple claims that NBC wanted to sell its shows for $4.99 per episode as opposed to the standard $1.99. NBC says this is untrue and that the disagreement was over packaging shows together to "make our content even more attractive." iTunes will carry  old NBC programs until December when the contract expires, but will not offer content for the new seasons.
