Someone is a little bit pissed off. Isaiah Washington, who played Dr. Burke on ABC's hit show Grey's Anatomy, has been embroiled in controversy after using an anti-gay slur targeted at a T,R, Knight, a homosexual cast mate. The saga that followed is common public knowledge, but Washington's anger at his subsequent dismissal from the show came out in a prepared statement from the actor's camp. Washington said "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore." Precisely what Washington is "not going to take anymore" and just how he plans on "not taking it" was not immediately clear, as the star has been summarily dismissed from the show. Then again, actors certainly have a penchant for hyperbole.
