Former Beverly Hills 90210 star Ian Ziering has reportedly auditioned to host the Price is Right and has been called back, making him one of a small group of unknown finalists to be the next host of the long-running game show. TVGuide claims that he "really, really wants it." I don't know, it's still hard to imagine anyone else hosting that show.

 

I kind of imagine that the audition process is just having all of the potential hosts playing all the games in front of a studio audience. The new host wouldn't necessarily be the winner, just the person who handled him or herself best under the pressure. And all prizes won by the "celebrities" would be theirs to keep as consolation prizes. Yes, perhaps I should be a producer on the Price is Right.
