Playbill reports that creator Marc Cherry, a longtime fan of musical theatre, may film one musical episode, a la Ally McBeal, Daria, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer
 
Considering Housewives may be the most grrl-power-filled show on TV, it's less than surprising that Cherry might decide to fill an entire episode with all singing, all dancing. If anything, the episode will serve as a nice way to ward off any heterosexual males who might have potentially harbored a spark of interest for the show.
