Zach Helm, the writer behind Stranger Than Fiction and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium is setting up a one hour drama show at ABC called Rockville 2020. According to , "Rockville will tell the story of a midsize town in Oregon 'that is quickly becoming irrelevant,' Helm said. 'Their mayor decides to do something drastic to change the town, and that's trying to get them a bid for the 2020 Olympics.'"
In addition to exploring the town's characters, skein will also examine a larger theological mystery.
Sounds more like a comedy than a drama (and humor has been one of Helm's stronger suits). No cast, or really anything, has been announced yet.
