New Zealand comedy/folk band Flight of the Conchords has been given their own show on HBO, appropriately titled Flight of the Conchords. The show follows the two men, Jermaine Clement (of the forthcoming indie film Eagle Versus Shark, which seems to be the answer to what would happen if Me and You and Everyone We Know mated with Napoleon Dynamite) and Bret McKenzie, as they search for their big break in New York City. Even better, HBO has released the first episode online. I haven't watched the pilot yet, and as such cannot vouch for it, but I can say I've watched a few clips of their very funny live act on youtube, and this will probably be worth checking out. Hopefully it can survive longer than my late, beloved Stella.
