This has got to be one of the strangest implementations of a marketing budget that I have ever seen. I seems that HBO, in an attempt to push up ratings for its Entourage series, have filmed a trailer for Medellin. Attentive Entourage viewers will remember the flic from the series. It was a biopic of Pablo Escobar that was chopped to Vincent Chase in Season 2. Chase ultimately gets the part and the film, on the show mind you, is headed to Cannes. To mark the event HBO has filmed an actual trailer for the movie and Slashfilm has come up on the goods. Check it out here...almost makes you wish the movie was real...
