Goldie Hawn and Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman are working together on a new one-hour drama tentatively titled Leap, based on Sara Davidson's recently published nonfiction book Leap! What Will We Do With the Rest of Our Lives?. Kauffman is writing the pilot, Hawn is expected to be a part of the (not yet assembled) ensemble cast and the two will serve as executive producers on the show, according to .

ABC Entertainment's president Steve McPherson gushes, "What Marta and Goldie did was take the simple premise of the book and put together this really insightful look at how two different generations deal with the big moments we all face in our lives"

The show would mark Hawn's first regular TV role since Laugh-In in 1970. I didn't realize that she was as old as 61, or for that matter as old as Laugh-In. Not an easy age to be in Hollywood, especially if you're a woman and there are literally younger versions of you out there (I'm speaking of her daughter, of course). This doesn't necessarily sound like my kind of show, but good luck, middle-aged ladies. God knows you don't get a lot of breaks.
