News > Grey's Anatomy Season Finale Cleans Up

May 18, 2007

File this one under "Big Freakin Surprise." NBC's seasonal finale for their soap-opera-meets-prime-time-hospital-drama Grey's Anatomy was a rousing success. that the 75 minute end of season blowout garnered a 9.1 percent ratings share. That's down a bit from the show's standard ratings share, but did represent a bump from the previous year's season ending show. In other news, some variant of CBS' CSI debacle had a similarly successful experience. That show's Thursday rating pulled in 6.1% of all viewers, most of whom thought that they were tuned in to a re-run of Matlock. Old age can be so cruel.
