News > Glenn Close gets her own drama on FX

April 27, 2007

Via TV Guide:

Glenn Close had a breakout role on the FX drama "The Shield" and now she's working on her own series with the network. "Damages" is the show and Close stars as a litigator. The show is dark and filled with anti-heroes, like "The Shield," and Close herself plays a particularly dark legal shark.

Those who have seen the show are saying it's as good as David E. Kelley's early episodes of "The Practice," which was damn good.

Hopefully "Damages" will at least be better than the recent FX premieres "Dirt" and "The Riches," both of which had their moments but were generally boring and pointless.
