Fox has put an indefinite hiatus on filming for it's immortal cop drama New Amsterdam. They currently have seven episodes finished, but want to gauge reactions before committing to anything further.

That generally doesn't bode well for the show's chances, .

The show premieres as a January mid-season replacement in 2008.
