Writer-director Jason Winer has created a new medical comedy called This Might Hurt which will go into production this fall. describes the show as revolving "around a multi-specialty private practice, in which a pediatrician, an internist and an OB-GYN all operate under the same roof." The single-camera comedy will feature a certain amount improvisation from the actors.
Doctors are always funny, and it sounds different enough from Scrubs and M*A*S*H to work without sounding like a rehashing.
