Fox is developing a half-hour comedy about a group of suddenly single thirtysomethings, reports Variety.

Titled "The Rules for Starting Over," the project comes from the Farrelly brothers, writers Chris Pappas and Mike Bernier and producer Brad Johnson, through 20th Century Fox TV. The network has given the sitcom a script order.

"Starting Over" will follow a 35-year-old guy who jumps back into the dating world after his marriage breaks up. The dude, along with his fellow divorced buddies, realizes that the rules of dating have changed while he has been off the market.
