Wired reports a pretty even-handed review of Fox's new Terminator-themed show, The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Evidently, the show is far too humorless and the Terminators have ridiculously awful aim,  but Firefly alum Summer Glau does a great job, and the action is sorta-kinda decent.

The show follows the exploits of John (Thomas Dekker, Claire's possibly-gay friend in Heroes) and Sarah Connor (Lena Headey, the queen from 300) after the conclusion of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, as SkyNet repeatedly sends more and more Terminators into the past in an effort to kill the shit out of Connor before he becomes a great leader of the resistance. River -- er, Summer Glau, plays the Terminator sent back to protect him.

The show debuts next fall, and will probably get canceled a few weeks later. Just putting that out there.
