News > Family Guy to Parody Empire Strikes Back Next

Family Guy fans will remember (hopefully) that this season began with an hour-long parody of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Sure enough, they've written a sequel based on The Empire Strikes Back, and the cast has already done a table read of it. This info comes courtesy of Mila Kunis (voice of Meg Griffin), who told IESB about the project at the Family Guy 100th Episode Party.

Creator Seth MacFarlane backed up the actress's story, confirming that they will definitely be doing the episode at some point in the near future. When asked who would be playing Boba Fett, MacFarlane provided the most logical answer: The Giant Chicken. The Giant Chicken is a character known for his epic, episode-interrupting fights with Peter Griffin. He's part fun running gag, part easy way out for the writers. MacFarlane also said that depending on the success of Empire, a Return of the Jedi parody is very much a possibility.
