Who ever said that the life of an ex-NFL player was filled with disappointment and sorrow? Not I. It looks like Keyshawn Johnson is bucking stereotypes once again. The recently ex-Buccaneer has just signed on as a football commentator with the "sports network of kings." The animated and articulate wide out will work on "Monday Night Countdown" and "Sunday Night NFL Countdown." It appears that after a lengthy vetting period ESPN decided that he was, at heart, a countdown kinda guy. that his performance during the NFL draft pretty much sealed the deal, acting as a live on air interview process. The addition of Johnson to ESPN's stable of ex-players and impassioned critics should be a welcome one. Now if only this damn "baseball season" would end, we could get back to some real sports action.
