Reality TV > ESPN Classics To Show American Gladiator Re-Runs!

After long days of prayer and self-sacrifice in the days preceding Easter, Lord God-Zombie-Jesus has finally seen my good deeds and rewarded me justly.  ESPN Classic will be showing re-runs of American Gladiators seven days a week.  For those who don't remember, the show was a competition that faced-off four regularly sized shmucks against four abnormally ripped long-haired, body-builders in a series of a bizarre weekend warrior games. All of the gladiator had names like Malibu, Lazer, Fire, Steroid Abuser, and so on.

When I was little this was the show for my brother and I.  To this very day one of my life goals is to compete in the Assault challenege on American Gladiators (if you don't remember that was the one where you had to dodge tennis balls shot at you while basically grabbing sweet weapons in an attempt to bombard the gladiator's fort - best game ever).

And now, ESPN Classics has finally deemed this sweaty schlockfest a "classic" sport, and fans of the show can rejoice in it's daily screening.  The show screens on the network at 7pm during the week, and at 9am on weekdays.  Is their anything better then waking up on Saturday morning to Lazer smashing the crap out of someone in The Joust? I think not.
