I love HBO more than most things in my life. The cable network has consistently produced some of the most compelling, engaging, and purely dope shows of the last decade. As such, I will blindly accept and watch any new HBO show on pure principle. I could care less about the show's premise, stars, plot, writers, or any other specifics. I love the channel that much. For those of you that need a bit more convincing, however, we've got some juicy nuggets that might help compel your cynical asses into watching Kill. Structured as a 7 part mini-series, the show will chronicle the first month of the American invasion of Iraq, as seen through the eyes of a battalion of Marines who were among the first on the ground. The show will star the following: Alexander Skarsgard, James Ransone, Stark Sands, Jon Huertas and Lee Tergesen. It also features support from former Marine Rudy Reyes, who will play himself in the show. Kill wil be directed by Susanna White and Simon Cellan Jones, and will be filmed in South Africa, Namibia, and Mozambique. Look for it to drop as an HBO Film channel exclusive sometime in 2008.
