News > Despite what the parachute chick said, "Lost" survivors are...still survivors

April 26, 2007

Via E! News:

E! News columnist Kristin Veitch was just as curious as us all about last night's episode of "Lost." If you haven't seen it, don't read on.

For those of you who DID see the episode, what the hell did that "no survivors" thing the Italian parachuting chick say...mean? After two and a half years of speculation, could the "Lost" is purgatory thing be true?

No...it's not. And they're still alive. Veitch shot "Lost" executive producer Damon Lindelof an email asking what the hell is going on. He responded with an illuminating reply:

"The following two facts are true. I swear it.
A. They're not in purgatory.
B. They're not dead.
If we did such a thing after repeatedly stating otherwise, we'd be tarred and feathered!"

So, there's something else going on, but they aint dead. Good to hear.
