I don't know about you, but I'm not terribly excited about NBC's upcoming series The Bionic Woman. Perhaps it's because the title itself conjures some rather unpleasant images of woman crushing me with their, ummm, bionicness. Not so tight Whatever the case, David Barrett does not share my fear, at least according to . The lucky gentleman has been tapped to produce/direct the upcoming series, which is, in fact, a remake of the classic show of the the same name. Fancy that. Bionic Woman is being billed as a "high stakes, face paced drama" No stars or plot have been announced, but given NBC's recent spate of genuine, quality programming, I'm inclined to give this the benefit of the doubt...at least for the time being.
