After 18 years behind the big desk, Dan Patrick is calling it quits from ESPN's SportsCenter. Patrick explained that he wanted to "try something different," and that he had "extremely mixed emotions about leaving" the show.
 
There were rumors that Patrick might take the reigns at the Price is Right now that Bob Barker has retired, though sources say that he turned down the job (he'd be all wrong for it anyway, he seems cool but not necessarily the kind of people-person BB was). Patrick may stay in radio and host his own syndicated sports show according to .
