News > CW Picks Up Eight Days a Week

May 31, 2007

In what will undoubtedly tip you off that today is a slow TV news day, reports that CW has ordered 12 episodes of the comedy pilot Eight Days a Week for its midseason.

The show may have the single most generic pitch in TV history: four twentysomethings try to survive in the fast-paced business world of NYC.

That's it.

And Mario Lopez is in it, for all you Saved by the Bell fans who have been positively aching for more AC Slater on CW. If the show has anything going for it, it's the fact that Sean Hayes (who played Jack, the hilarious homosexual on Will and Grace) is producing it.

But that's about all it has going for it at this point.
